BAND
delivers Reggae, Dancehall, Rhythm and Blues. Its musical roots
is
reggae. The members different musical paths contribute to Roots diversity. The band was founded in the summer of 2004 by bassist Sheik Mia, former guitarist Jean Marie (Budi) and former drummer Adrian Cummings. Michael Crichton joined as keyboard player. Holly Villeneuve joined ROOTS in 2005 as its backup singer/keyboards and has since emerged as the band's vocalist. ROOTS delivers a variety of Reggae based genres from Alicia Keyes, Rihanna, No Doubt and many other contemporary artists but also retaining its reggae origins. ROOTS musical growth and endurance is credited to its members' dedication who have embraced the changing musical times and responded to the demands of playing live music. |
